i think this was technically arlo's first trip to the pumpkin patch. we went to roloff farms this year. i sort of wanted to go to lakeview since i often went there as a kid. however, dan has made "friends" with some of the roloffs because dan's company made their website, so we decided to go there and support them! it was a lot of fun, especially since my dad and sister got to come along! to start the day off, we went to cinnabon for a super hearty breakfast (we had some fruit too). once we got to the pumpkin patch, arlo got his face painted like a tiger, we went on the wagon tour and saw the little western town, got to see some animals (including a baby lion and tiger), and of course, picked out our pumpkins. afterwards, we grabbed lunch at helvetia tavern. arlo loved the cheeseburgers and onion rings there. it was a great outing! you can tell from the pictures though, that arlo was tired almost the entire time. he was a great sport though, even with boots that were too big! a big plus, the weather wasn't as wet or cold as i thought it would be! the rain waited to come until later on that day. arlo loves his pumpkin, and keeps calling it a ball :)

You guys always and do the funnest things. I want to go to a pumpkin patch (said in a whiny voice)... Can't really complaint though since we're living in South Florida for 6 months. Such cute photos and such a cute little boy!!
I don't know how I've missed all these recent pictures on your blog. It's so fun to see what you've been up to. Arlo is just the cutest little boy. He's getting so big. Sometimes I see pictures of you and Dan and think you don't look old enough to be parents! That's a compliment. Love and miss you.
